My name is Kate Scott Daly (she/her), and I can't wait to meet you!
I'm a Chicago native and have been a professional photographer for nearly a decade. I am obsessed with capturing the perfect moment that will make you gasp and say "Oh my god, this is amazing!" I will make sure that your event is captured with care, and you will feel that care and professionalism every step of the way.
As an event photographer, I understand that every moment is just as important as the last. Whether you are looking for posed photos of your team or candid shots of people connecting and laughing, I can do it all. I love making corporate and social events feel just as lively and fun as the weddings I shoot!
If you're looking for someone you can relax with and just be yourself, you've found me! Let's face it: it can be awkward being in front of a camera. Even I feel nervous sometimes! I understand that anxiety and will do everything I can to make you and your colleagues look comfortable and professional in front of the camera.
Staying Sustainable
One of the most important things to me as a small business owner is the eco footprint I leave, and I am always working on reducing that footprint. From providing digital contracts, invoices, and timelines, to setting up my own studio in my home to save on building space, I pride myself on being an eco-conscious vendor!
In addition to my own steps to be more eco-friendly, I also work with and recommend vendors who have a similar philosophy (and are often members of the GWA!). By working with these vendors and being part of the GWA, my commitment to sustainability only grows stronger.
